MCC Policy Staff Member Peter Noll

 

Peter Noll has served as Education Director at the Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC) since July 1999.  Dr. Noll received a bachelor’s degree in education from Bemidji State University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Winona State University and a doctor’s degree in educational administration from the University of Minnesota.

 

For 20 years Dr. Noll was a Catholic school principal in Wabasha, Lakeville, Bloomington, Minnetonka and St. Paul.  He has served as curriculum coordinator for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

 

Dr. Noll has served on teacher education advisory councils at the University of St. Thomas and the College of St. Catherine and has also served on the board of directors of Partnership for Choice in Education.  Additionally, he has been appointed by the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department Education to serve on the Minnesota Nonpublic Education council and also currently serves on the Federal Assistance Advisory Commission for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

 

Currently, in Dr. Noll’s position of Education Director at the MCC, he lobbies at the state legislature and works closely with Diocesan groups, Catholic school superintendents and principals from across the state.  He is also the Executive Director of the Minnesota Catholic Education Association.
